Today’s Menu: WELCOME HOME

come home

An inheritance is an entitlement meant to be given out after the death of the real owner.

The prodigal son, however, took all his future inheritance and squandered it while his father was still alive. When he came to his senses, he humbled himself and returned home. To his surprise, he received a warm embrace and a joyful reception instead of condemnation.

God gave us 365 days worth of grace, favour, wisdom, power, and all life’s resources.

How have you used all these resources this year?

Who did you help? Who did you bless? What did you plant? What did you restore? Why did you do it? What were your motives? Which talents did you explore? When?

Whatever your response, He’s reaching out to you again today, saying “Come Home”.

Another year starts tomorrow, a new opportunity to live a better life than 2013 and be the best son/daughter of God you can be.

Today, thank Him for all the resources He provided this year, the battles He won, the honour/titles you received, the prosperity you enjoy, the peace, the good health, and with a humble heart, come home to your Father and His warm embrace.

On a last note, thank you for allowing me to share with you 365 devotionals from the LOVE CAFE series. I hope I have blessed you in some way and helped your intimacy with the Most High. See you in 2014 by God’s grace. Happy New Year!!

Yours truly,
Fofo.
