“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, mighty God, Everlasting Father and the Prince of Peace” (Is. 9:6)

Nations around the world are ruled by governments that adopt different ruling systems: parliamentary, monarchy, democracy, communism, socialists etc. However great a nation is and will be depends a lot on the Leader and his attributes.

The scripture says “the government shall be upon his shoulder” The question is: “Is your government upon His shoulder?” Is He ruling and reigning over the affairs of your life?

His reign over our lives brings wonderful things, great counsel, mighty things, constant succour from a loving Father, and peace which the world cannot give.

Are you burdened with a load of care? Or are you feeling great and happy inside?

As you go about your usual day today, place your government upon His shoulder and leave it there and “the peace of God which passeth all human understanding shall keep your heart and mind in Christ Jesus” Amen.

Yours truly,

2014 Thanksgiving countdown: Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord.
