“…the earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results” (James 5:16b NLT)
One of the privileges we have as believers is the opportunity to commune with our Father in heaven. Praying earnestly does not mean gymnastics or loud noise. It requires:
a) Faith: faith in God, faith in His ability to do all things and faith believing that He can do all things.
b) Right standing with God: a heart free from sin, tuned into God, able to penetrate into the Holy of Holies without guilt or condemnation.
As it was in the days of Elijah, so it still is obtainable today. We can obtain great results when we pray earnestly from our hearts. The sick can be healed, the wounded restored, lack turned into abundance, the impossible made possible. Indeed, prayer changes things. Amen.
Have a great day!
